Supported Windows Versions
Check your Windows edition, version, and processor type before you download. Some apps need a specific Windows 10 build. Some cannot run in Windows S mode.
Check your Windows version
- Press Win+R, type
winver, and press Enter.The window shows the edition, version (for example 22H2 or 24H2), and OS build. - Check the processor type.Go to Settings → System → About and look at System type: x64-based or ARM-based.
- Check for S mode.If the edition name ends in "in S mode", only Microsoft Store apps can be installed.

"Partial" means it works under conditions or has not been confirmed for every release. Always check the developer's current system requirements.
Windows 10 end of support
Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. The apps on this site still run on Windows 10 22H2, but developers are gradually dropping support. New releases may require Windows 11. If you stay on Windows 10, enroll in Extended Security Updates (ESU) and keep a copy of the last installer that worked.
Hardware requirements
- Memory: 4 GB RAM is enough for screen OCR. Use 8 GB or more for batch PDF conversion.
- Disk: Screen OCR tools need about 100–300 MB. Tesseract with many language packs, or FineReader, can need 1 GB or more.
- Display: Higher DPI screens give better OCR accuracy on small text.
